Business School extension
The Sir Richard Morris Business School extension was completed in 2007. The Business School is home to 72 academic staff and 1500 students.
Environmental credentials
- The Business School is naturally ventilated
- It has automatic controls to regulate the heating and ventilation
- The building has an exposed concrete frame construction to take advantage of thermal mass
- There is solar shading around the building to reduce solar gain
- The lighting is controlled by sensors detecting movement and light levels
