On campus harassment support and advice network
Members of Confide are available to talk to any students in confidence about issues of harassment and/or bullying and will offer support, advice and assistance in seeking a satisfactory solution. They are willing to discuss any incidents, or problems, no matter how serious or trivial they may seem.

Mathematics Learning Support Centre

Guidance and information for undergraduate students of all disciplines experiencing difficulty with mathematics and statistics, particularly those in the early stages of their studies. A statistics consultancy service for final year undergraduate and postgraduate students is also available.

The Security Service is on duty 24 hours a day throughout the year. They can respond to and assist in relation to crime and traffic issues and can also help and assist on other matters whenever other services are not available.

Student Enquiry Desk
Responds to enquiries from taught students regarding loans, grants, tuition fees, registration, course changes, assessment and graduation, maintains students' personal information (including addresses etc) and produces new and replacement student ID cards, bank letters, and council tax certificates and other student certification documents. The Library offers training and advice on how to make best use of all the information sources and study skills you will need to make the most of your course. A new student run unit offering an advice service providing information, support and representation to students in cases of 'institutional dispute' e.g. attending academic misconduct hearings, disciplinary hearings or issuing complaints. The new unit will also provide a central hub which supports all departmental programme reps.
