All requests from LSU clubs and societies should be channelled through the LSU Clubs and Societies Officer or Athletic Union representatives as appropriate.

What services can Teaching Support provide?
Teaching Support manages 85 pool lecture theatres on campus and provides technical support and portable equipment to all academic departments and external conferences from projection equipment to exhibition panels.
What equipment / services are provided free to UG / PG teaching?
OHP, slide projector, data projector, screen, television, video and DVD players are provided free to use in teaching any undergraduate and postgraduate courses with a valid module code within all pool lecture theatres during the academic day. (Where fitted and subject to availability only).
How do I book a room?
All room bookings for academic purposes should be channelled through the departmental administrator.
All requests from LSU clubs and societies should be channelled through the LSU clubs & societies office or the Athletics Union Representative as appropriate
All other requests please contact rooms@lboro.ac.uk or call x 222198.

How do I book equipment / technician?
To book equipment or a technician please email teachingsupport@lboro.ac.uk or alternatively complete the online booking form (see tab above). Please be aware that we cannot guarantee portable equipment or technical help for late bookings.

What are the compatibility issues with laptops and data projectors?
When connecting a laptop to a data projector, ensure the projector is switched on prior to connection. The laptop may require a rotation through the screen menu to ensure an image on both laptop and screen.
This can be done by holding the function key down and pressing the F key. This is usually F5 but look for the symbol of a monitor. These guidelines do not apply to all laptops.
What is open access and which pool rooms have it?
Teaching Support provides open access data projectors during the academic semester in the following rooms: A001, A201, A203, B111, D201, D202, GGB01, J001, J002, JB021, KG107, KG109, KG111, KG112, RT033, RT037, RT040, S004, S173, S174, SMB008, SMB010, SMB102, SMB103, SMB104, SMB105, T003, W001, W002, W003, W004, XX019, ZZ106.
Lecturers are able to connect a laptop to the data projector without prior booking. If an installed computer; sound for the laptop; video; voice amplification, or technical support is required for these lecture rooms please email teachingsupport@lboro.ac.uk or complete the online booking form.
