Voicemail
Check your voicemail from off-campus on (01509) 223344.
The following provides brief instructions for getting started with the Voicemail System. More detailed instructions are contained in the users guides from the providing company (Voice Connect).
To access the system, dial 1515 from your own extension. The system will prompt for your password (8888 until you reset it).
From this point, all is done by voice menu prompts, though there is no need to wait, when you get used to remembering the keys that you need. For instance, to listen to messages press 3, to change your message etc. press 6.
The personal message, and your password, should be changed straight away.
The dial tone of your phone changes (to a higher note) to indicate that there are messages waiting for you.
You can check for messages using any University Extension, by dialling 223344. You will then be prompted for your own extension number before getting into the system. This can also be done from outside the University, by dialling in on 01509 223344.
