Remote Working Client for Mac

Applications Access & Remote Connections (ARD/SSH)

You can connect from any Macintosh computer to any on-campus central IT Services, departmental service, or your computer on your desk.

Macintosh users who wish to access machines via Apple Remote Desktop/SSH (Secure Shell) can do so using Cisco AnyConnect.

Cisco AnyConnect Installation Instructions

You need to Install Cisco AnyConnect on the off campus Mac computer. See www.lboro.ac.uk/it/off-campus/client-mac-install.html.

Sharing Setup Instructions

You will need to ensure that the Mac on campus has the requisite Sharing options available for ARD (Apple Remote Desktop) or SSH (Secure Shell) connections and these connections should be restricted to specific users on the host machine for security purposes.

SSH Sharing Instructions

See www.lboro.ac.uk/it/off-campus/mac-ssh-sharing.

ARD Sharing Instructions

See www.lboro.ac.uk/it/off-campus/mac-ard-sharing.
