Off-campus Access

Users who wish to access machines via Apple Remote Desktop/SSH will need to Install Cisco AnyConnect on the off campus Mac computer.

Cisco AnyConnect Installation Instructions for Mac

1. Download the installer using this link: Intel-based Mac Installer.

2. Open the disk image (your browser may have done this for you already) and double click on the installer inside it to begin the installation process.

   

   Click Continue.

3. Follow through the installer steps and at its completion you should receive confirmation that the installation was successful:

   

4. If the software is not successfully installed the following screen is displayed:

   

   If this occurs please check you do not have any prior installations of a VPN client installed such as OpenVPN and / or TunnelBlick as this will prevent the AnyConnect installer from running correctly. If the problem persists please contact the IT Services Helpdesk.
