Wiping Mobile Devices using Outlook Webmail

If you lose your mobile which has been set up to access your Loughborough University email and calendar, IT Services would strongly recommend you remotely wipe the device.
This will remove all your emails and calendar appointments, providing some level for security for your confidential correspondence.

  1. Logon to webmail: https://email.lboro.ac.uk from anywhere in the world.
  2. Click on Options in the top right of the screen.
  3. Click on ‘Mobile Devices’ in the menu on the left hand side of the screen.
  4. Select the device you want to wipe, and click on Wipe All Data from Device.

Note: this will erase your entire device, although it can be restored from backups stored on the computer you sync with.
