Free to use scanners are now installed in Haslegrave Labs (N004, N005), Haslegrave PC Clinic area (N006), Business School BE025 (Sir Richard Morris), Loughborough Design School LDS003, and Stewart Mason Building SMB (Postgraduate Centre). Instructions for use are located nearby.
You can also use the print / scan devices for scanning, but there is a charge for this.
Apart from N004 / N005, these computers have only the software required for scanning and do not have all of the same software as the rest of the lab, therefore the scanner computer may not be suitable for use during lectures.

The scanners can either scan images or can scan text and import it into a document (Optical Character Recognition).
