Loughborough Staff and Students Visiting Other HEIs - eduroam

Using eduroam

Students and Staff not using the Staff Desktop service

The eduroam wireless network requires the client device to be configured for WPA/WPA2 enterprise (PEAP or EAP-TTLS). Students and staff (not using the Staff Desktop Service) can configure their devices by connecting to the setup-wifi wireless network on campus. Once connected, users should open a web browser and they will be redirected to an automated tool which will help configure their device.

If your device doesn't support the automated method you will need to consult your device manufacturer's documentation for connecting to a WPA2 enterprise network. Together with the technical information and instructions from your manufacturer, you will need to configure your device manually to connect to eduroam.

Staff Desktop users

Staff Desktop Users should follow the Staff Desktop eduroam instructions to configure their device for accessing eduroam when visiting other HEIs.

Windows 7 Service users

The Windows 7 Service already has the eduroam wireless network set up for your use.
