Academic staff: Share your views on University communications at our upcoming focus group

Following a recent survey undertaken as part of Project Expectations to gather colleagues’ views on staff communications at the University, we are keen to better understand the views of academic staff at Loughborough.

To do this, we will be hosting a focus group on MS Teams on Friday 24 May from 2pm-3pm.

During this session, we will focus on the following themes:

  • Your preferred communication channels and methods for receiving University news and updates
  • Local communications eg for example, within your respective School
  • Your thoughts and feedback on leadership communications (both at a School and University level)
  • Anything else you want to discuss linked to internal communications.

By taking part, you’ll play an active role in shaping the future of internal communications for staff at the University. Your insight will ensure that the academic voice has been represented so we can tailor our communication strategies to support the needs of different audiences. We are keen to understand your past experiences (both positive and negative), as well as any suggestions you may have. Your input will be invaluable in guiding this project forward.

Internal Communications is a dedicated workstream linked to Project Expectations, one of the Enabling Projects supporting the University Strategy, Creating Better Futures Together

If you are available to take part, please register your place using the online form

If you have any questions, please contact Sadie Gration, Internal Communications Manager
