Research Interests
Mary has previously researched in the area of muscle metabolism during maximum sprint and intermittent exercise with a particular interest in the aetiology of fatigue. Her present interests are in paediatric exercise physiology and she is the Director of the Institute of Youth Sport. She is also actively involved in the sport of field hockey, being the former Great Britain Women's Captain and former coach to the England U21 Women's Squad.
