MSc Research Studies: Quantum Information and Computing

 

A one-year programme offering an opportunity to carry out research on Quantum Computing and  to obtain a Master's Degree by research studies. 

The Compulsory modules are:

  • PHD230 Quantum Computing
  • PHP170 Current Literature
  • PHP181 Theoretical Research Skills
  • PHP381 Theoretical Research Project (Contributes 50% of MSc)
    Working under the supervision of an experienced researcher for a total time of six months on a research project related to Quantum Information and Computing

The Optional Modules are:

  • PHD101Internet and other complex networks in nature and science
  • PHD102 Cosmology 
  • PHD104 Modern Magnetism 
  • PHD204 Superconductivity & Colossal Magnetoresistance Materials
  • PHD201 Psychophysics
  • PHP105 Quantum Phenomena 
    Other modules are available by negotiation.
