Travel information

If arriving at London Heathrow (LHR), either take a coach (2.5 hours direct, hourly) or the underground (Piccadilly line) from terminals 1-3 to King's Cross Station (1 h) and a direct train from there to Cambridge (50 min, two departures an hour). Note that the underground station in Terminal 4 is currently closed due to construction work.

The budget airlines easyJet and Ryanair fly to both Luton and Stansted airports. Form Luton, coaches to Cambridge take 90 min and run at 2-hourly intervals. From Stansted there is a direct train service to Cambridge taking 30 min and running hourly as well as coaches taking 1 h and running at hourly intervals.

Taxis from the rail station cost £7-10; from the bus station about £4-6 or just walk across the market in under 10 minutes. Pronounce the name "Caius" like the word "keys".
