Staff
The Department is internationally renowned for the quality of its teaching and research. It has an excellent track record in the training of both undergraduate and postgraduate students, and the provision of innovative industry-relevant research.
The Department has around 150 staff, with nearly 60 academics, teaching undergraduate and MSc programmes, supervising PhD students, and leading our research programmes.
There are around 35 research staff and over 120 postgraduate research students, all of whom are working on our research programmes and projects, many of them collaborative projects with other universities, companies and organisations.
The Department is supported by around 30 technical, systems, and administrative staff.
